Finally, it's here. My favorite time of year. The time of warm breezes, dewy skin, and sunburns. So pardon my lack of posts, as I've come back into my skin and have been avoiding anything that resembles the months of hibernation that have finally ended. Tomorrow is Canada Day, the kickoff to summer. What better way to spend it than to drink all day, frolic, and take in as much free stuff as humanly possible?
I'm heading eastward Tuesday, back to the homestead to see my mother and her cats before I head south to Canso for a weekend of debauchery. If I survive, maybe I'll tell you about it (at least the parts I remember). Cheers!

I know, I know...
...I've been slack as of late. But with good reason - are you familiar with the amazingly fantastic weather Halifax has been privy to the past few days!? I feel like I'm coming back into my skin after being relegated to the depths of winter for what felt like an eternity. So I'm sorry if you feel I've neglected you, but I've been having the most wonderful adventures. I promise I'll tell you all about it when they're over. Until then, make your own adventures. We can swap stories some rainy day :)
